Greg Hunter is the Managing Broker and Team Leader of The Motiv Real Estate Group, helping buyers and sellers throughout the Greater Seattle area with a focus on South King County, including Skyway, Renton, Kent, Tukwila, Auburn, and Federal Way.
Greg's passion for real estate began in 2014 after purchasing his first home. Inspired by the opportunities homeownership created for his own family, he earned his real estate license in 2016 while continuing his career at T-Mobile. When the T-Mobile and Sprint merger led to his layoff in 2018, Greg turned his passion into a full-time career dedicated to helping others build wealth through real estate.
Before real estate, Greg built his career at T-Mobile, where he held roles in hyper-local marketing, merchandising, buying, operations, and sales. That corporate experience instilled the discipline, structure, and strategic thinking that continue to shape his business today. Rather than relying on guesswork, Greg believes every recommendation should be backed by data, market insight, and a clear plan.
Since transitioning to real estate full-time in 2018, Greg has closed more than 150 home sales and over $52 million in real estate transactions, building a reputation for honest advice, strategic marketing, and exceptional client advocacy. He has grown from a solo agent into the leader of The Motiv Real Estate Group while mentoring fellow real estate professionals and helping raise the standard of service throughout the industry.
Known for his education-first approach, Greg believes buying or selling a home should never feel overwhelming. His mission is to replace uncertainty with clarity by providing every client with a personalized, data-backed strategy tailored to their goals. Whether guiding a first-time buyer through every step of the process or helping a seller maximize their home's value, Greg empowers clients to make informed decisions they feel confident about, never through pressure, always through education.
Greg's philosophy is simple: Selling a home isn't about putting it on the market, it's about how the market responds to it.
Every successful sale begins long before a listing goes live. Through strategic pricing, thoughtful preparation, compelling presentation, and high-impact marketing, Greg helps homeowners create demand from day one. He understands that the first week on the market is often the most important, and his goal is to position every home to generate maximum attention, stronger buyer interest, and the best possible outcome.
As a lifelong South King County resident, Greg's connection to the communities he serves runs deep. He grew up in Renton, graduated from Lindbergh High School, purchased his first home in Kent's East Hill neighborhood, and now lives in the Bryn Mawr/Skyway community. As President of the West Hill Community Association, he actively works to strengthen the neighborhoods he serves through community engagement, advocacy, and local initiatives. His clients benefit from insights that go far beyond market statistics, including neighborhood growth, local businesses, schools, community resources, and the lifestyle each area offers.
At the heart of Greg's business are four core values: Honesty. Education. Empowerment. Motivation. These principles have helped him build lasting relationships with clients who continue to trust him long after closing day and confidently refer their friends, family, and future generations.
Whether you're buying your first home, preparing to sell your current one, or planning your next investment, Greg is committed to helping you make confident decisions with a strategy designed to achieve your goals, not just complete a transaction.
